Banzai Mascots - Pin designsby *Pan-Pan

New year for Banzai and there's a contest going on for mascots to make into pins to be sold at the con. I'm pretty happy with all of them so we'll see how it goes. They're to be sold as a set since the con is "Banzai" and the mascots are "Ban" and "Sae." (Ban is the boy, the girl is Sae

)

Group one - Skater type. Been reading a lot of Air Gear lately, so I wanted to put Sae in Air Treks. Gave her long pigtails just for funsies. Ban looks pretty comfy though.

Group two - Ban is kind of a mesh of the 1st and 2nd designs I did for him. I love giving him that shinsengumi coat. And I wanted to give Sae a cute frilly dress that was also asian-ish. So yeah.

Group three - my favorite one. I went with a more retro kind of Tron-meets-Voltron look. XD I love doing visors and cyber-punk kind of stuff. I think it would be a blast to do full size of them too.

Anime Banzai had a booth at the Japanese festival this year and they were giving out old pins. I got the one of Sai that you have pictured here. Its awesome! great work. I too am working on a mascot entry this year. Luck to us both.
